Using Digital signature on Outlook
How to use digital signature on Outlook 2003?
First, you must get a Digital IDs from Secure email certificates Issuer such as Comodo.
You can sign up to get a certificate from Comodo on this link.

(Tips: your browser must be Internet Explorer).

Browse above link and click the red button "Free Download" to get a digital IDs.
Then, you fill details information to the form, and click "Agree and Continue" button.

After that an email will be sent to your mail box, the one which you informed on the previous step.

You must set IE as your default browser and click "Click and Install Comodo Certificates". Just click yes yes yes... to finish the process. if you see the red text "Successful". What a good job?
You now, can use the secure email certificate.
The next is getting the cert.
Open the browser Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options. Choose tab Content, and click the "Certificates" button.
Choosing a certificate and export it to a temporary location on your computer such as Desktop.
Remember exporting your private key too.
And now, open your Outlook -> Tools -> Options, choose tab Security, and then, click Import your certificate with the above file you've exported.
Now, whenever you compose a new email, you can click the sign button to sign your email message.

After reading the complete article I am having so many queries. First I would like to know if Digital IDs are available for free or not. And second thing is that do we have to use only Internet explorer.

DeleteNot sure you still concern about this but I would like to share you about this.
First, the Digital ID is free from some supplier such as comodo as above.
We can generate our ID for 1 year, after that time we must submit another ID, this is the limit.
If we pay for them, the period can be longer. (5 years...)
The constraint Internet Explorer (IE) is the requirement of provider when we do our steps to claim. After you get your digital ID, you can use it on any environment.
